This year’s edition of FOMEITOP will be a bit further than all previous editions. The main change will be the newly arranged space, which will allow us to focus more directly on the exact segment of our offer that you have come to see. In addition, we have expanded the space for our partners, so you will be able to see new products from all the major photography brands at FOMEITOP – this year we will welcome stands from Nikon, Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Hasselblad and Ecoflow. The programme is again packed – well-known names and engaging talks on various topics from the world of photography and video. At the same time, there will be a parallel accompanying programme in our studio, which we have prepared for you together with our partners. All lectures on the main stage will be live streamed on our YouTube channel.
Compared to previous years, it is no longer necessary to register in advance – prices and other offers are the same for everyone. However, on-site registration remains, which will get the registrant a voucher for food and drink. By registering, the visitor is also entered into a competition for valuable prizes.

Rostislav Stach organizes photography courses and workshops and is a mentor for beginners and advanced photographers. In 2007 he published a successful book FOTOLOVY – learn how to photograph animals well in nature, which was published in the Czech Republic and Poland. In 2011 he published the second, updated edition of Fotolova 2. In 2008-2009 he was a member of the international photographic group SHAPE, which photographed the Caribbean islands of the Netherlands Antilles. Rostislav Stach is an Olympus Ambassador. He has published his images in many professional and popular magazines, books, calendars, postcards, posters, etc.
In an interview with Radek Hamouz, he will talk about his work and his experience with wildlife photography.
MgA. Marian BENEŠ, Ph.D., MQEP, graduate of FAMU in Prague and specialist in demanding digital design. Together with his colleague Jan Kaiser, he will introduce a new medium in the FOMEI PAPER offer – Archival Matt 260.
MgA. Marian Beneš, Ph.D., MQEP, is a contemporary Czech photographer and university teacher, vice-chairman of the Association of Professional Photographers of the Czech Republic. He holds the professional title of Master Qualified European Photographer. In 2021, he published a comprehensive publication Photographs of the New Millennium (www.knihafotografie.cz), for which he received the prestigious BEST PUBLISHER 2022 award in this year’s European Photo Book Award competition by the Federation of European Professional Photographers.
A few words about the FOMEI Archival Matt 260 sample photo
The photograph was taken as part of a unique collaboration with the Škoda Auto Museum. The photograph was created under the guidance of teachers, with the kind assistance of perceptive students.
Elegant and majestic cars are quietly waiting for the masterful hands of the Škoda restoration workshop to shine again, not on the street, but deservedly under the stage spotlights in the remarkable exhibition of the Mladá Boleslav Automotive Museum.
Dan Vojtěch specializes in advertising photography. In recent years, he has focused on creating photographs for various car brands, creating impressive business portraits. He co-runs the popular Tomorrow 55 studio, where he handles studio and equipment rentals. Where has he moved in recent years? Be inspired by the interview conducted by René Tomaides.
Jan Novák will present new innovations in FOMEI lighting technology. You can learn where studio lighting is heading with practical lighting demonstrations. We will show you the basics and reveal some tricks for original lighting.
Aleš Smékal is a photographic printer and photographer from Tišnov. In the interview with Tomáš Rygle, they will talk mainly about how professional photographers can make money by printing photos.
Tomáš Třeštík is a Czech photographer, videographer and FOMEI Ambassador. He is most famous for his portraits taken from his balcony in Letna, where he photographs not only famous faces, but also passers-by with interesting stories. Professionally, he is mostly an advertising photographer. Following his journals, he wrote and published the book After the Surface in 2021.

During the first day, several interesting names will appear on the main stage. After the opening of the day by director Miloš Žalman, this year’s FOMEITOP will be opened by wildlife photographer Rostislav Stach, who will talk mainly about his work – photographing animals. He will be followed by our colleague Honza Kaiser, who will introduce new photo papers in our offer. At a quarter to twelve it will be the turn of Dan Vojtěch, a successful photographer and Fujifilm ambassador, who will talk with René Tomaides about how he shoots action sports using a medium format camera.
After lunch at the booth in our courtyard you can visit the live workshop of Honza Novák. He will be shooting a model directly on the main stage illuminated with state-of-the-art LED RGB lights. Then he will be replaced by Tomáš Rygl, who together with Ales Smékal from Tišnov will advise how to make money from printing small format photos. The highlight of Thursday’s programme will be a lecture by photographer, influencer and writer Tomáš Třeštík. At the end of the day, we will welcome on stage 5 up-and-coming creators whose work we enjoy and want to give them space to present their projects and ideas in quick five-minute blocks.

Honza Březina is a professional photographer, experienced traveller, passionate lecturer, blogger and founder of Illumia. He has been a travel photographer for more than ten years and has travelled to six continents and more than a hundred countries. In addition to photography, his extensive lecturing experience includes Apple products, photo processing, and being an Adobe Certified Expert and Apple Certified Trainer.

Miloš Nejezchleb is an artistic conceptual photographer. Miloš started working with art photography in 2016 and since then he has been collecting one success after another. He has won several international competitions, and in 2018 he was the winner of the prestigious domestic Czech Press Photo. He has exhibited in Venice, Paris, Berlin, as well as in Mexico. In 2021, the London Fine Art Photography Awards awarded him the title of Photographer of the Year, and this year one of the world’s largest community websites, 500px, awarded him the same title.

Other interesting personalities will be presented during the second day. After the opening by director Miloš Žalman, the Friday programme will be opened by Tomáš Rygl, specialist in dyesub printing, with an interview with David Čeřovský, the author of Smilebox photo cards. Their main topic will be the operation and development of hi-tech automated self-service photo booths Printka and Fotoautomat. At quarter to eleven we will welcome photographer and one of the main Apple evangelists Honza Březina on stage. He will talk mainly about his travels and photographic work during them.
Honza will be followed by a continuation of the live workshop with Honza Novák, where he will show how to take a creative portrait using the new products in our lighting range in collaboration with a model. Then at quarter to two, the main star of Friday’s programme will be Miloš Nejezchleb, a conceptual art photographer who has won awards around the world with his images. At the end of this year’s FOMEITOP, we will be welcoming 5 more up-and-coming artists whose work we enjoy, and we want to give them space to present their current projects in quick five-minute blocks.

This year’s optics exhibition will be mainly about adapters for observing/photographing nature through spotting scopes and binoculars. Starting this spring, we are offering both adapters for specific scopes and a universal adapter for all optics. We will also show our night vision/thermal imaging riflescope kits.
Nikon will have the complete Z system including the Z9 top model and all lenses on its booth for you to check out.
The Canon specialists will be bringing the entire R system with RF lenses to their red tent.
The black tent with white logos will also not remain empty – none of the currently offered Sony cameras or lenses will be missing.
After a long hiatus, you will also be able to try out Fujifilm’s equipment, mainly medium format cameras from the GFX series and pro machines from the X series.
